Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, the 15th busiest airport in the country as measured by total number of passengers serviced, is the primary transportation hub for the Pacific Northwest.

The airport is located approximately 11 miles north of Federal Way and presently serves more than 20 major airlines in addition to a number of smaller commuter airlines, charter services and cargo carriers.
